HISTORY

Rebuilding Together Santa Rosa & Sebastopol has grown from repairing five homes in Santa Rosa with 125 volunteers in April 2001 to nineteen homes and three nonprofit community sites with 350 volunteers in April of 2009 in Santa Rosa and the Sebastopol Area. People cared, people came together and together we made a difference.  You can too!

Some of our 2009 community accomplishments include:

• A local safe house for battered women and their children received a bathroom makeover to include a walk-in shower
• 38 energy efficient windows and 5 doors were installed
• A 90 year old electrical system was replaced
• 3 homes were repainted
• 4 decks and stairs were replaced
• 2 roof repair and replacements were completed

In addition, eight 40-yard dumpsters were filled, landscaping and clean up performed, fences repaired, plumbing issues resolved, 120 CFL lights and 40 smoke alarms installed…
